We recommend having a pre-wedding shoot to all the engaged couples, because the majority of couples have nothing to do with professional shoots. They’re not actors and can be a bit camera-shy, uptight and embarrassed. That’s the reason why at first, we’re getting acquainted with the couples, earn their trust and tell them, how wedding videographer works. When people trust you, the quality of a video improves a lot. It means that we won’t embarrass you, won’t make you do something that you’re not comfortable with. We’ll just try to be there for you, softly guide you and film you the way you are: real, loving and happy.
THE MAIN BENEFITS OF PRE-WEDDING SHOOT
1. IT’S KIND OF A THERAPY FOR A BRIDE AND GROOM.
Just imagine: you and your loved one are going to your fav place. It can be mountains, ocean, yacht (where he proposed to you), cozy coffee shop (where you first met among friends). Actually, it can be any place you both like. Moreover, you’ll have an opportunity to wear your gorgeous dress for which you couldn’t find an occasion. Or it can be the perfect reason to pamper yourself and buy something brand new for a special occasion! The most important thing is that you’ll spend a few hours of shoot together, enjoying the nature and each other.
2. FOOTAGE MADE ON PRE-WEDDING SHOOT WILL REFRESH AND MAKE YOUR VIDEO EVEN MORE UNIQUE AND MEMORABLE.

Usually it’s enough to film about 2-3 hours to gather enough footage for the video lasting for 1-2 minutes. And you can make a nice thing of it – during the wedding reception show this video to all your friends and relatives! They will be so surprised (just don’t forget to grab a projector)!

We’d like to share our experience regarding one of such weddings to show you the real-life example.
FIRST PRE-WEDDING SHOOT
Our first pre-wedding shoot with beautiful Andrea and Chat was in September 2019 at a magical place – Mowich lake – that is located in Mt Rainer Park, two hours drive from Seattle. It’s one of the most famous parks in Washington state. A crystal-clear lake surrounded by the mountains, white mist hanging on the top of the mountains and pristine beauty of nature seem so impressive. This beauty itself inspires you, makes you creative, so it was a big pleasure for us to work there. The footage we’ve got on the shoot only confirms it. The footage getting by using a drone literally turns heads! By the way, Andrea had incredibly beautiful dress that turned out even running to the piece of art. It is the main goal that should be accomplished by the wedding cinematography – find beauty in every little thing.
SECOND PRE-WEDDING SHOOT
Our dear bride and groom just couldn’t stop. They liked the first shoot so much that they decided to organize one more! The second shoot was made in February 2020 in Olympic National Park that is three hours drive west from Seattle. For this shoot we flew from LA to Seattle for only one night, but it definitely was worth it. We were staying at a wonderful place – vintage hotel Lake Quinault Lodge that was founded in 1926. It was located right in the middle of a rainy forest. There was nothing around: only the forest, lake and this hotel with a small wooden restaurant. Quiet and calm place to have a moment to yourself, becomes one with nature. By the way, there is an interesting fact: filming location from the movie “Dirty Dancing” was in this hotel. Of course, we watched it on the plane on our way home.
Chat and Andrea were very cute and thoughtful: they met us on arrival and invited to dinner at the restaurant. We were talking, laughing and playing board games. When we left for the chosen location next morning, we have already been true friends. This day after the breakfast we flew back home. But we promised to come back because this place really fascinated us.
